    Post-Modernity

    Post-modernity is a philosophical concept, which arose at the end of the 19th century. It led to the collapse of the grand Western narratives, which had hitherto propped up the world. Time became no longer linear, running instead towards perpetual progress. It was plural and contradictory. Hence a form of relativism and disenchantment: the occidental mind has looked at itself and asked: “what’s the point?”
